This beautiful engagement session held at the DMA was an extra special engagement session. I am truly blessed to do what I love. There are no adequate words to describe the joy I feel during a shoot. I get to see the most precious moments through my lens and feel so honored to be a part of those moments shared between two people in love. Engagement sessions are some of my favorite things to photograph, but this one was my all-time fave; because this bride-to-be is my little girl, Lindsay! I’ve pinched myself so many times trying to absorb the fact that she’s getting married, and I’m still trying to get used to the title, “Mother-of-the-bride”! Lindsay and TJ are so much fun and are absolutely perfect for each other! I am so excited to see how God uses them together in their marriage!

TJ & Lindsay met in July and after just a few dates, they knew they had met “the one”. It wasn’t long before TJ started searching for the ring, and in October, he got down on one knee and asked Lindsay to marry him. Their wedding is planned for next July. I’ve loved watching their relationship grow and how they both truly want the Lord’s will for their lives. We couldn’t be more thrilled!
TJ and Lindsay had one of their first dates at the DMA – Dallas Museum of Art and I love that they chose this location for their engagement session. Lindsay literally glows and seeing the two of them together on this gorgeous fall afternoon, was truly beautiful! I love light, and the sun gave us an awesome show as it reflected and bounced off the buildings into the shots!! As the sun began to set, we headed over to White Rock Lake for some shots by the water. There were several men on the dock fishing while we were shooting, and had us all laughing as they cheered TJ on as he leaned in for a kiss!
