Our first wedding of 2018 was one of the coldest days in Texas. A cold front was moving in and with every hour, the temperature continued to drop, plummeting more than 30 degrees in just 6 hours! Brrrr! But, that didn’t put a damper on the day at all, and everybody from the bride and groom to the adorable flower girl was excited to celebrate with these two! Lindsey & Matt chose the beautiful Ashton Gardens, DFW known for it’s stunning chapel set in the woods, which let in all that gorgeous natural light but kept out the bitter cold! Exactly the way we want it, right!?

There were so many great parts of this day that I loved, but one of my favorite moments of their day was during the ceremony when both families gathered around Lindsey and Matt and had a time of prayer. What a wonderful way to begin their journey together, surrounded by so much love and support! I loved meeting their families and friends (who were just awesome, btw!) and the whole day was a beautiful reflection of how much both of them are loved. Weddings are my absolute favorite moments to photograph and this Ashton Gardens wedding was at the top of my list!  Enjoy some of my favorites from their special day!
