A Beautiful Spring Arbor Hills Engagement Session | Angela & Jake

The engagement session is one of my favorite things to photograph, and an Arbor Hills engagement session is one of the best locations around! I’ve known Angela and Jake for years and when they approached me about being a part of their wedding day, I was truly honored. I’m so blessed to get to walk along side so many beautiful couples from the engagement session all the way through to their beautiful wedding day. And these two are completely adorable! Jake & Angela met all the way back in the seventh grade, (yup! Isn’t that the best?!) and their friendship grew over the years until they both realized they were meant for each other! After five years of dating, Jake proposed this past winter and they’ll celebrate this summer with a beautiful wedding at Hidden Creek. I can’t wait!

We had so much fun up at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve  in Plano, and although it was one of the windiest days I can remember, Angela’s (and Jake’s!) hair stayed gorgeous! 😉 As we walked through the woods, laughing and talking I loved hearing about their plans for the wedding and beyond. These moments together aren’t just to get beautiful photos, it’s so much more than that…we’re having fun, they’re learning to trust me and I’m getting to know the couple I’ve committed to pray for and journey along side.
