It’s always such an honor to be invited into the lives of all of my couples to capture and document the most special times in their lives, and each one of my couples mean the world to me. But, this sweet downtown Dallas engagement session was pretty near and dear to my heart. My boy is getting married! And he couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful soul inside and out. They’re perfect together. Nate & Xenia are a little over three months out from saying, “I do!” and as the date gets closer, our whole family’s excitement just grows. God is so good to bless us with these seasons of joy and blessing and we don’t take a single one of them for granted.

Nate currently lives and works in NYC, so when he was home this past month we scheduled some time for their session. It was a cold and windy day, which made for a tricky session for long hair and a blowing dress, but that didn’t interfere with how much fun we had. We laughed till our sides hurt! That’s what I love about these two…they’re so much fun!

We started out downtown and ended the session at White Rock Lake at sunset. There are so many beautiful shots of these two that I had such a hard time cutting it down for a post!
