A Summer Wedding at The Springs in Rockwall | Grace & Lowden

I first met Grace and Lowden at Panera over coffee and instantly fell in love with them. I knew immediately that I wanted to be a part of their day more than anything – I mean, let’s be honest – when you meet two people who are this much fun to be around, you make it happen! Their joy and love for each other and the Lord is so evident and absolutely so much fun to watch. Their engagement session was such an easy one because they naturally fell into poses that needed little or no guidance. They just did what I love: they were themselves and their expression of their love flowed so easily and naturally for them. I love that! Grace and Lowden had their wedding at The Springs in Rockwall, Texas and everything about this day was memorable, filled with love and emotion and lots of fun!

They’ve been together for eight years, so this day was SUCH a big deal to them and everyone who loves them. Grace was stunning in every way and when she asked Lowden to turn around for their private first look together, he completely lost it. It was the most beautiful first look I’ve ever photographed. The love and emotion on his face is priceless and I am thrilled that we were able to document this precious moment and that they had as much time as they wanted to share in this together. Most of their portraits were taken during their first look in front of the beautiful Manor and I didn’t pose them for any of them. I always give my couples as much time as they want together and let them tell me when they are ready for portraits, but Grace and Lowden’s first look was so beautiful and filled with so much emotion, that I was able to capture so many gorgeous portraits in real time!

This wedding party was incredible and so much fun to hang out with all day! EVERYONE was SO. MUCH. FUN. This is really a gift as a photographer…8 hours is a long time to hang out with a group of people you just met, so when they welcome you in like this group did and make your job fun…it’s a win! And even though it was almost 100 degrees that day, they were amazingly patient and made taking photos so much fun together! (Thanks, guys!)

All throughout this beautiful day anyone who was present could feel the love and emotion behind every part of the day. From the moment Grace’s father saw her for the first time, to the walk down the aisle, the dances, toasts, and even the AMAZING dance with Lowden and his mom when they surprised everyone and tore up the dance floor, this couple is in love and IS LOVED, by many. Congratulations, Grace and Lowden. Being a part of your day blessed me, my team, and everyone who had a part in celebrating you both and your special day! What a wedding at The Springs in Rockwall!
